The Parlour At Mann's Chapel

Wedding Day Details

The ceremony will be held inside the chapel at the Parlour – masks are required for all guests while inside.

The cocktail hour and reception will be outside, weather permitting. The outdoor surfaces are grass and gravel.

  1. 3:45pm — Transportation from Aloft to Parlour departs
  2. 4:00pm — Guest begin arriving at Parlour
  3. 4:30pm — Ceremony begins
  4. 5:00pm — Cocktails in the garden
  5. 6:45pm — Reception & dinner
  6. 8:30pm — First shuttle returns to Aloft
  7. 9:30pm — Last shuttle returns to Aloft

Wedding Weekend: Durham, NC

Logistics

While our wedding is in Chapel Hill, we recommend staying in Durham, NC. There's a UNC home game that weekend which affects price and avaibility of hotels.

The welcome party and hotel block are all within walking distance of downtown Durham. We will provide transportation to and from the reception. Everything outside that area likely requires a car.

Note about COVID

We are closely monitoring the Delta variant but are holding our wedding as planned. Our wedding will be a small gathering of 50–60 people. Weather permitting, we plan to have the reception outdoors and may require guests to wear masks indoors in accordance with local mandates. We always expected that anyone attending our wedding would be vaccinated, and that is still the case.

We understand that all of you have to decide what feels safe. If you feel comfortable attending, we would still love to see you. If you don’t feel comfortable for whatever reason, we still love you and respect your decision. Please text or email us if you have questions.
